A POOL - recommended for ranked athletes

B POOL - open to athletes NOT ranked top 20 AJC Gold in singles

C POOL - not ranked by any Provincial Sports Organization

 FORMAT 

u9 (born in 2017 or after)  C pool only

u11 (born 2015 - 2016) A/B/C pool

u13 (born 2013 - 2014) A/B/C pool​​​

 *Round robin if draw size less than 5. Elimination over 5 players.   

                                                           

 POINT SYSTEM 

Match (best out of three)

21 points, win by 2

Feather shuttles will be used in A Pool

Nylon shuttles will be used in B Pool

Nylon shuttles will be used in C Pool

 HOUSE RULES 

Participants must wear indoor non-marking shoes (no black). This tournament is open to ALL clubs but if event is full, priority will be given to athletes that train with Drivesports Badminton.  CAB and the organizers of this event has the right to amend the rules at their sole discretion.  Centre Avenue Badminton is not a member of Badminton Alberta.  This is a private event.  Active coaching allowed pursuant to BWF regulations.
